Payments Policy
Each tour has a deposit of $750 per person which is payable at booking. The balance of payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the tour.

Non USA Payments
Most of our tours are listed in US dollars but if you want to pay in your local currency by the bank debit method then it is as easy as selecting the flag of your country’s currency on the top right of the window when you are making payment. Alternatively, you can request our $US account details to make a wire transfer from outside the USA.
2nd Participant Payments
A booking will only show under the account of the person who made the booking, not the second participant. There are 2 options for payment in this case -
Timings
The payment timing will stay the same, with a deposit of $750 pp payable at booking and the balance payable by 90 days before the tour starts. You will receive an automated reminder 30 days before the balance is due.We believe this new system will streamline your booking experience. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your booking, you need to confirm the cancellation in writing by email or letter. If you contact Iberian Wine Tours prior to confirming your cancellation we can advise you of the cancellation charges applicable to your situation. The cancellation charge is based on the number of days prior to the starting day of the trip booked. The charges are per person cancelling, as follows:
90 days or more – loss of deposit
89-60 days or more – 25%
59-30 days – 50%
29 days or less – 100%
Refund Policy
From time to time, tours do not reach the minimum number of bookings necessary to make the trip viable. We reserve the right to cancel or alter a tour in these circumstances. If we cancel the tour or make substantial alterations, we will advise you at least 60 days before departure and will offer you alternative dates or a full refund.
Day 1. Sunday 27th June
Check in to Royal Horseguards Hotel in Whitehall
We meet in the lobby for a short drive for dinner at Noble Rot in Mayfair famous for its legendary wine lists and hyper seasonal Franglais cooking. D
Day 2. Monday 28th June
Check out and drive south to Gusbourne Estate in Kent for a private visit and lunch at one of the standard bearers of quality English wines on an estate that goes back to 1410 on the low slopes of Appledore. After lunch we enjoy a tasting at Balfour. Located on the historic 400 acre Hush Heath estate in Kent. We then drive to Ockenden Manor in West Sussex, our base for the next 3 nights, a historic Elizabethan country house in Cuckfield. We meet for a light dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with wines from local vineyards. B/L/D
Day 3. Tuesday 29th June
After breakfast we travel the short distance to Ridgeview Wine Estate. Founded in 1995 by Mike and Christine Roberts, Ridgeview is one of the pioneering forces behind the English sparkling wine revolution, focusing exclusively on the holy trinity of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. We enjoy a visit, tasting and lunch at the family-run estate.
After lunch we have a short drive to Bolney for a visit and tasting. Founded in 1972 by Rodney and Janet Pratt, Bolney is one of the oldest and most pioneering vineyards in the United Kingdom. The estate is an award winning producer of both still and sparkling wines. After our tasting we return to Ockenden Manor where the evening is free. B/L
Day 4. Wednesday 30th June
After breakfast we depart by bus. At our first stop in Grayshott, we enjoy a private tasting and visit with Sarah Rowlands, a locally based wine educator and the author of the Periodic Table of Wine. Sarah entertains us at her home with some fine English sparkling wines from a producer we don’t visit on this tour and one or two surprises.
We then make the short drive to Hampshire wine country for a visit and private lunch at Hambledon, the oldest commercial vineyard in England in the village where cricket was first played in 1750. Their wines were served at the state banquet where the Queen hosted her last state visit from a US president. They are one of the premier sparkling wines in England. After lunch we head back to the hotel where dinner will be held in the Restaurant. B/L/D
Day 4. Thursday 1st of July
After breakfast we check out after breakfast and depart at 0930 for a short drive to our morning stop at Albury Organic Vineyard. Albury Vineyard is a family-run, organic estate located in the Surrey Hills on the slopes of the North Downs, established by Nick Wenman in 2009. We enjoy an English wine and cheese tasting before returning to London. After a 2 hour drive back to the Horseguards Hotel in London, we conclude our trip. B
