The trip to the Loire Valley was excellent. Simon and James were wonderful hosts. The food and accommodations on the trip were superb. The daily events and activities were well received by the participants.

This trip was a fabulous time spent with eight friends! We hiked, we drank, we took in the sights. Jenny and Jackie, our guides, were terrific and attended to every detail. The walking portion of our days meandered through grape fines, ravines, steep climbs and beautiful villages. The people of Portugal were welcoming and the food, wine (and port) was delicious. The best part for me was the ability to simply show up each morning prepared for the day and know that I'd be in for an adventure.

As always, my trip with Iberian Wine Tours was outstanding! Such a varied wine area that I'd never visited, with equally varied and charming accommodations. I also enjoyed the non-wine visits to Chartres, Chambord, and Fontevraud. The evening celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Judgement of Paris was indeed a grand finale - and so special because of the long connection with Steven Spurrier. What a treat for the Gran Reserva folks!

This was a perfectly-balanced trip, with a great balance of touring historic sites and winery visits throughout the valley, many of them small and personalized for our little group. Great food throughout, knowledgeable staff (hats off to James and Jeremy) and fun travel companions.

We signed up for this trip on the recommendations of a neighbor who had traveled with the Iberian Wine folks on a different tour. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I have to say that all of my expectations were exceeded. Jeremy and his crew were knowledgeable and skilled hosts and managed all the logistics with aplomb. The tour was small (9 guests total) and it was a lively and friendly group. The accommodations were spectacular and the food exquisite. Many of the places we visited (particularly between the big cities of Madrid and Porto) were unique, out-of-the-way gems that are not frequented by tourists. And of course the wine! I learned SO much about port in particular. This was truly the trip of a lifetime! We look forward to joining the Iberan Wine crew again for another adventure.
