Day 1. Sun 22 June Meet at the Fitzwilliam Hotel for our 1st night. Short introductory walk, followed by dinner with wine writer Raymond Blake at Cellar 22 wine bar in St Stephens Green, where we’ll sample some wines from our regular destinations with some Dublin wine and whiskey tales from Raymond. D
Day 2. Mon 23 June Leave Dublin, heading to County Tipperary and Cashel Blue for a tasting tasting on the road followed by lunch in Cashel. Drive south to check in to the famous Ballymaloe Country House in County Cork for 2 nights. B/L/D
Day 3. Tues 24 June Morning Behind the Scenes visit to Midleton Distillery, where some of Ireland’s best quality and most famous whiskies are produced. Light lunch at the distillery. Some free time before going to Ballymaloe Cookery School for a cookery class and dinner at the world renowned venue. B/L/D
Day 4. Wed 25 June Check out of Ballymaloe for walking food tour of Cork and the English market. On to Galway to check in at Park House Hotel and wonderful tapas style Spanish Irish dinner at Cava. B/L/D
Day 5. Thur 26 June Check out and drive to Slane Castle for private lunch, including a taste of Slane whiskey followed by a private tour at the castle. Drive to Belfast to check in to Merchant Hotel and enjoy light dinner at Berts Jazz Café. B/L/D
Day 6. Fri 27 June Drive to Londonderry for guided tour of the City Walls and some locations from Derry Girls. Brewery visit followed by lunch at the Walled City Brewery, then drive to Bushmills for a special private visit and tasting, followed by a drive along the coast to Ballycastle and then back to Belfast. Free evening. B/L
Day 7. Sat 28 June tasting at top artisan producers, Shortcross Gin. On to a bread making demo with a traditional baker on the shores of Strangford Lough where we make local breads and taste local produce in a light lunch. Evening dinner at Michelin starred Ox, Northern Ireland’s premier restaurant. B/L/D
Day 8. Sun 29 June After breakfast, end of tour.
