This is a new stellar tour of one of the most attractive and diverse wine regions of the world. Home to the most magnificent châteaux in France and to a range of fresh and vibrant white, red, sparkling and sweet wines, the Loire valley is a treasure trove of historical, gastronomic and wine delights that combine to offer a classical wine wonderland. This is the opportunity to discover the wines, personalities and landscape of this wonderful part of France.
Co-hosted by James Lawther MW, this tour opens the doors to some of the very best wine producers in the valley, from the fine sauvignon blancs of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume to the young and aged Chenin blancs of Vouvray and Savennieres to the vibrant cabernet francs of Saumur and Chinon with some excellent roses and sparkling Loire cremant along the way.
We set out from Paris and return to end our journey with a special dinner at Drouant and enjoy a visit to Chartres cathedral on our way to 5 nights in the Loire Valley across 3 hotels.
